A backup is designed to protect your data in the event of hardware malfunction or building catastrophe. Staunch Systems' offsite backup service acts as a medium to backup your data automatically and offsite. Offsite backup is not designed to replace faster onsite backups or system state backups but rather get mission critical systems backed up offsite in the event of server room or building catastrophe. The Staunch Systems SLA is designed to provide your company with reliable offsite backup.

Our SLA is broken down into two categories.Infrastructure is the components that interconnect our servers to the internet and ultimately to our client's.

We guarantee that our infrastructure: HVAC, generators, UPS's, switches, routers, cabling, and internet will be up 100% of the time. This doesn't include scheduled maintenance that will be posted on the support page. Any outage related to infrastructure will result in a 5% discount per hour of downtime in a given month up to 100% of that months bill.

Hardware is defined as the physical components that make up our severs: hard drives, RAM, motherboards, controller cards, and any other device that is needed for the server to operate. We guarantee that our servers will be operational 99.9% of the time. This doesn't include scheduled maintenance which will be posted on the support page. Any outage related to infrastructure will result in a 5% discount per hour of downtime in a given month up to 100% of that months bill.
 

How we monitor our systems.
We have 24/7 monitoring and tracking of our systems for an offsite source.  We track every minute our systems our offline and also plan our downtime and upgrades with the offsite monitoring.  In the event of scheduled or unplanned service outage, www.staunchsystems.com will be redirected to the offsite montoring website with a note about the issue.  The temporary website will explain the reason for the outage and start counting in minutes the downtime.  If the downtime is longer than the planned outage, we will start crediting 5% for every 1 hour of outage.  If the reason for the downtime is unplanned,we will start crediting 5% for every 1 hour of outage imediately.
